Red Ribbon Club AIDS Awareness:

As per the directions of H. P. AIDS control society Shimla, Dr. Diljeet Singh, Associate Prof. (Zoology) and Ms. Kiran Bala Asistant Prof. (Commerce) are appointed as Nodal Officers to carry out AIDS related awareness activities in the college and other academic institutions.Acquired Immuno deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is one of the most significant health and social problems faced by the world today. The primary motive to establish a Red Ribbon Club in an academic institutions is to sensitize young students of the college about HIV and AIDS.

At the onset of the current academic session, the Red Ribbon Club was reconstitutedwhere 50 volunteers (35 girls & 15 boys) were enrolled as its members.

• Poster making Competition on theme "AIDS" was organised in the College and 9 students participated in it.
• Three students attended one day training cum quiz competition at Zonal Hospital Dharamshala on 18th Oct. 2022.
• Poster making competition was organized by the Red Ribbon Club in the College Campus on 01-12-2022, in which 13 participants were there.
• On 2nd Dec. 2022 a slogan writing competition was organised by the Club and 11 students participated in it.
