National Cadet Corp (NCC) :

Govt Arya Degree College Nurpur NCC unit is working under the dynamic leadership of Lieut. Surjeet Kumar A.N.O. Our college had sanctioned with 3 NCC platoons of 134 cadets during the session 2020-21 under the Border area expansion of NCC services. 59 NCC cadets enrolled by the PI staff member of the 9 HP Battalion NCC Dalhousie in first year for the session 2022-23. 20 cadets of second year and 27 cadets of third year attended the annual taining camp at NHPC Colony Banikhet from 25 September to 2 October 2022 in which Cadet Pallavi Devi of our college was selected as best cadet in Drill competition among 393 cadets. NCC unit of our college organized Blood Donation Camp on 23 November 2022 on the occasion of 75 anniversary of NCC days in which cadets from 4 colleges donated blood. Commanding Officer Colonel S K Salaria visited in the blood donation camp. One cadet viz. Deepak Jaryal of B. Sc. 3 year has attended the ATC camp at Bahara University Shimla from 20 to 27 Jan., 2023 and 3 SW cadets viz. UO Neha , LCPL Indra Devi and CDT Bharti attended the Army Attachment Camp attached with 14 Rajputana Rifle 9 Corp Battalian Colony Gharota Pathankot from 28 January to 7 February 2023. Three cadets out of 28 cadets from Shimla NCC groupviz UO Neha , SGT Sahil Singh Dadwal and SGT Pratyush Thakur has attended the Ek Bharat Sresht Bharat Camp at Motihari Bihar with the cadets of Bihar and Chhatisgarh NCC directorate. Two cadets SGT Sahil Singh Dadwal and CDT pallavi Devi was selected for the Basic RDC camp held at Indus University Una, SGT Sahil Singh Dadwal was selected for the 2 camp of RDC 2023 held at Mandi. SGT Sahil Singh Dadwal attended the IGC and Pre RDC camp 2023 at NCC Academy Roopnagar. 31 cadets got NCC B certificate with Alfa Grade for the session 2022 and 19 cadets of second year appeared in NCC B EE certificate Exam held at Govt. College Dharamshala on dated 12 February and 29 cadets of third year appeared in NCC-C certificate exam at Govt Model Sr Sec School Mandi.
