National Service Scheme (N.S.S.)

The college has a N.S.S. Unit with Mrs. Alka (Asstt. Prof. in Physics) as Programme Officer. The N.S.S. unit was formed by enrolling 100 volunteers for the session 2022-23. The following activities were performed during the session.

• The NSS day was celebrated on dated 29.09.2022. The different cultural and the patriotic programmes were organized by the volunteers.
• On dated 03.10.2022, NSS unit organized one day camp in the college premises. Volunteers cleaned up Arts and Science Block.
• On dated 15.11.2022, NSS unit organized one day camp in the college premises. Volunteers cleaned up Commerce block and backyard of arts block.
• On dated 26.11.2022 as per directions of Govt. of India "Constitution Day" was celebrated by NSS unit.
• On dated 02.12.2022, Awareness rally on "WORLD AIDS DAY' was organized by NSS unit along with poster making competition.
• The seven days special camp was conducted in the college premises w.e.f. 25.12.22 to 31.12.22. 50 volunteers participated in this Seven days special camp.

Right from the first day to the last day the NSS volunteers cleaned up the whole college and educated garbage by cleaning the drainage system. The volunteers cut the bushes and shrubs in the college. The NSS volunteers has also conducted cleanliness drive in the nearby 'Usha Mala' temple and 'Brijraj Swami Temple'. During the camp Dr. Dinesh Kumar Sharma, Principal of College along with resource persons guided all the volunteers and educated them about different new emerging issues. Mr. Manish Kumar and Ms. Mehak were adjudged as the best volunteers during the camp.
